We’re very proud to have provided all the music and sound design for the two very exciting teasers for the 13th season of Dr Who. Huge thanks to Barnaby and Keith of Feet First Foley who provided the foley feet (and suspense-laden-twig) for the reveal clip.
Here are the teasers. (Warning; this reveals the new Dr – for those of you who are living on Mars and don’t receive any earth based news).
Broadchurch Series 3
New work Ahoy! Broadchurch is currently on Mondays 9pm on ITV. We looked after the full sound post for this third series.
Here’s the Guardian review, which even mentions the sound – a rare occurrence!:-
And here’s the Broadcast technical round up detailing the post sound work on the show.
A very busy year, in which we were nominated for an RTS award for Marcella, a craft Bafta for Fortitude, 4 Emmys for The Night Manager and Sherlock, 2 CAS award nominations for Sherlock and The Night Manager and an AMPs award win for Fortitude. And after all that lot we finished the year off with 3 more episodes of Sherlock, in conjunction with creative partners Bang Post Production. The series was then mixed into some lovely Dolby Atmos domestic mixes with the final episode getting a theatrical Atmos mix, for worldwide distribution into cinemas simultaneously as it was broadcast on the beeb.
Sherlock Xmas Special in Cinemas New Years Day!
Not only is it on telly on New Years Day, but this episode is also showing in cinemas. Continuing our long term creative partnership with Bang Post Production, we mixed a cinema version (more dynamics / more bass / more surrounds!) for this theatrical release. There’s even a Dolby Atmos version, which we can thoroughly recommend.
